Fire Safety Procedures

UPON DISCOVERING A FIRE

• Call Emergency Services immediately (Telephone 999 and ask for the Fire Brigade)

• Inform Emergency Services immediately if anyone is thought to be in danger.

• Knock on every caravan and tell everyone to evacuate to the Fire Assembly Point immediately

• Do not attempt to gather personal belongings

• Only use a Fire Extinguisher if you have been trained in their use.

• Carry out a roll call to account for all the people present on the site.

• If safe to do so turn off the gas supply at the storage tanks.

• Remain at the Fire Assembly Point. Do not venture back into the caravan site until told it is safe to do so my the Emergency Services or someone else in authority.
