Fire Safety Procedures
Please take a moment to read these procedures on arrival so you know what to do in the event of a fire.
Upon discovering a fire
- Call the emergency services immediately. Telephone 999 and ask for the Fire Brigade.
- Inform the emergency services immediately if anyone is thought to be in danger.
- Knock on every caravan and tell everyone to evacuate to the fire assembly point immediately.
During evacuation
- Do not attempt to gather personal belongings.
- Only use a fire extinguisher if you have been trained in its use.
- If it is safe to do so, turn off the gas supply at the storage tanks.
After evacuation
- Carry out a roll call to account for everyone present on the site.
- Remain at the fire assembly point. Do not go back into the site until you are told it is safe to do so by the emergency services or someone else in authority.
